“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us” 2Corinthians 4:7
The year 2011 seems to be a year wherein the Lord has been pouring out His grace and mercy to us. Beginning with the year-ender CLSF Workers Camp last Dec 27- 29, 2011 when the Lord opened my spiritual eyes to see the “Ministers of fire” which were angelic beings clothed with flames of fire (Heb 1:7) who came and cleansed hearts of the participants so that sins and iniquities of our people were purged and a new level of consecration and holiness came to the church to make us vessels fit for the Master’s use. The National Elders are unanimous in thinking that these new anointing was the direct result of our last trip to Israel wherein Bro. Sadhu and the company of prophets released the anointing of “seven eyes and seven horns” spoken of in Rev 5:6 which is the divine ability that the Lord gives to see what is in the heavenly realm and to exercise the divine authority that flows from the Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
In the just concluded KE Pastors and National Elders Retreat at Villa Lorenza Resort in Pililia, Rizal last Jan 13-14, the Lord once again opened my spiritual eyes in one of our worship sessions and allowed me to see a vision of earthen vessels whose contents were being poured out, cleaned in the inside and then filled to overflowing with glorious and shimmering water that came from heaven. T5he Holy Spirit then impressed upon me the scripture in II Corinthians 4:7 wherein it says that: “We have this treasure in earthen vessel that the excellency of the power may be of God and not us”! Amazingly, when the earthen vessel was filled up, I saw that clay vessel suddenly turn to gold! Another scripture came to my heart, that is I Tim 2:20 where it says: “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonor”! The meaning of te vision is quite clear in my spirit: when we allow God to remove the sin and filth in our lives and we determine to live for Him alone and do His perfect will, then the Lord would transform our ordinary lives to become vessels of honor in the Kingdom of God.
The life that we have inside of us, in our spirits and souls, is the very life of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the treasure that is hidden in our innermost beings, the light of life that cannot be overcome by darkness (John 1: 4- 5)! It has unlimited power, cannot be defeated and destined to glory. It is the incorruptible seed of Jesus’ life sown in us through the living and enduring word of God (I Pet 1:23). If we allow God to cleanse our lives and choose to live holy lives doing God’s will and pursuing only His purposes in our earthly existence, then the Lord Himself will set us apart to be vessels of honor that is fit for the Master’s use! The Lord would transform our minds, our intellect and strengthen our will so that no matter what comes our way, we will not waver nor be sidetracked! Like gold, the fiery flames of trails and affliction will only purify our hearts like gold and silver tried and tested seven times.
Let us pursue to be vessels of honor. Let us allow God to cleanse our lives and be filled with the treasure of treasures, the life of the Lord Jesus Christ!

The supremely valuable message of salvation in Jesus Christ has been entrusted by God to man. Apostle Paul’s focus, however, was not in the perishable container but on its priceless contents – God’s power dwelling in us. Though we are weak, God uses us to spread His Good News and gives us power to do His work. Knowing that the power is his, not ours, keeps us from pride and motivates us to keepdaily contact with God. Our responsibility is to let people see God through us.
