A Prayer Gathering Like No Other

“This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.” Psalms 24:6

The just concluded 21st National Prayer Gathering (NPG) of the Intercessors for the Philippines (IFP) held at the cavernous Cuneta Astrodome last November 16-18 was a great success! With the theme: “Raising Up A Nation of Davids” and “Establishing 24 Hour Houses of Prayers” (24HHP), the 21st NPG became the most significant NPG in the 21 years history of the IFP. Attended by more than 6,000 pastors, intercessors and ministry leaders from all over the country, it was the first NPG held in our Jubilee season and the first time ever that the main messages were carried by Read the rest of this entry »

The 21st National Prayer Gathering

More than 6,000 people attended the just concluded 21st National Prayer Gathering (NPG) held last November 16-18, 2010 at the Cuneta Astrodome. The 21st NPG came out to be one of the best NPGs ever. This years’ theme: “Raising Up A Nation of Davids” and the “Establishing 24 Hour Houses of Prayers (24HHP)” highlights the need to transform the Filipino people to become lovers of God and lovers of nation and be willing to fulfill God’s purposes for them. This will be done by massive prayers, massive evangelism and massive discipleship of our people by the churches who would take heed to the Read the rest of this entry »

Streams in the Desert

A Report of our Ministry Trip to Dubai, United Arab Emirates
By Pastor Dan Balais

“Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert” Isaiah 35:6

The dry desert air greeted us as we were warmly welcomed by excited and joyful CLSF brethren at the ultra-modern, humongous, exotic and palace-like beauty of the Dubai International Airport. It was our annual visit to our CLSF churches in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). After a few minutes of waiting at the arrival lounge, CLSF pastors, Kuya Ramir de Villa and Kuya Danny Gumarang came and after the Read the rest of this entry »

CLSF Dubai: Fruitful Like The Palm Tree

“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God”
Psalms 92:12-13

Every time Ate Tanette and I are invited to visit and minister to our CLSF churches in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) namely, CLSF Dubai, CLSF Abu Dhabi and CLSF Sharjah, we always imagine beautiful and majestic palm trees that vigorously grow in the desert sands of the land and those that were carefully planted at the center island of their well paved and modern highways that adorn their newly built, ultra- modern and “out of this world” metropolis. I remember the scripture that says that the righteous shall flourish like a palm tree and grow like cedars of Lebanon (Psalm 92:12). The palm tree in the Middle East is known for its Read the rest of this entry »

Volunteers in the Day of His Power

Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth – Psalms 110:3

All of God’s people alive today have come to such a time as this! This season is a very crucial time in God’s prophetic agenda for the nations! Our beloved nation, the Philippines, stands in such a strategic “kairos” time and critical role in the Asian region to such a point that what happens to us spiritually will impact the gospel proclamation throughout Asia and the whole unreached world. An open door is set before us; it is up to us to walk worthy of that great calling to which we were called! Read the rest of this entry »

The Korean Connection

Just a couple of weeks coming from our energy- sapping but extremely fruitful mission trip to Bangladesh and Thailand, I felt the trip to Korea was not a priority. With the thrust here at home to intensify prayer, evangelism and discipleship gaining momentum in connection with our Jubilee battle cry: “Raising Up A Nation of Davids!” and with myriads of ministry responsibilities in the Body of Christ that I have to attend to, I was inclined to turn down the invitation of Rev. Mary Chang of Diakonia Leaders’ Intitute to speak in some key churches in cities of Daegu and Inchon in South Korea. In the trip, I was also arranged to meet with Read the rest of this entry »
