“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.” Haggai 2:9
In these recent weeks, Ate Tanette, Lemuel and I have to deal with a monumental transferring of residence since our rented house will now be used by its owner. After ten years of being settled there as parsonage and more than 30 years of living as a family, the task was not easy and extremely physically and mentally stressful! It is amazing how the Lord has enabled us to cope with this change. First, God’s amazing favor and grace supernaturally enabled and buoyed us up; second is the love and dedication of the CLSF leadership and the brethren, church workers who are ever ready to lend strong helping hands and diligently sacrificed their time and strength to help us in this difficult, earthly necessity!
Challenging and tiresome as it is, we are quite excited of the prospect of transferring house, hopefully for good until the Lord comes! The new location is within Mandaluyong City; a bigger, two-storey private house in a better, more peaceful neighborhood! On top of these, a very excellent and kind couple, Kuya Ric and Ate Angie Galang, accomplished house designers and interior decorators committed themselves to make our new house a beautiful and restful enclave! From the very lips of Prophet Robert Misst learning about our house transfer: “Bishop Dan, your new house is very prophetic as the scripture says- “…The glory of the latter house will be greater than the former house and in this place, I will give peace” (Haggai 2: 9). Indeed, what the prophet from New Zealand said witnessed and ministered in our hearts. With more than 30 years of extreme commitment to the Lord and His call not only for CLSF but for the whole Body of Christ, our passion is to see the glorious purposes of God fulfilled in our nation and the world! In the midst of the shakings, intense spiritual battles and painful birth pangs, the end of the age will see the glorious unveiling of the Kingdom of God revealed throughout the world! It is this glorious hope that has kept the Church victorious and overcoming in the midst of vicious attacks of Satan and his evil hosts! The Lord’s purposes will prevail! It will take a lot of sacrifices and single minded focus not holding back even the greatest and ultimate of all costs, our very lives! Yes, the glory of the latter house shall be greater than the former one!
On behalf of my family, I would like to thank all of those who lend their brains and brawn to make sure that we will be comfortable in this time of transition. From the National Elders to the hardworking CLSF maintenance and construction crew in charge of the renovations, we deeply appreciate all your help and sacrificial efforts. We thank all who are praying with us and appreciate the people who are helping and caring for our needs. As we continue to work together and pursue God’s vision and mission for CLSF in the midst of the challenges that we face in these Last Days, we are certain of one thing: The Glory of the latter house will be greater than the former house!
