Feeding His Flock Like a Shepherd

“He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.” Isaiah 40:11

Last January 25-27, the National Elders went on our long awaited prayer and planning retreat. It has become our church distinctive and tradition to always seek the Lord for the direction and guidance in our lives and ministry. The Elders arrived at the beautiful and world class CCT Retreat Center situated in the verdant hills of the scenic Tagaytay City at about lunchtime. I have to catch up with them coming from Bae, Laguna where I and the Board Members of the Philippines for Jesus Movement (PJM) also had a planning retreat. Feeling quite tired from the long trip and super-demanding schedule, I just trusted the Lord for His divine enablement earnestly expecting and looking forward to His refreshing presence in that cool, fresh and wind-blown retreat park! My faith and hopes were high!

It was at the dawn prayer of the third day, Jan 27 that the Lord showed up while we were in deep worship. While I was leading in singing worship songs, I suddenly saw a vision of the Lord Jesus walking with a flock of sheep following Him. The Lord Jesus was wearing a white robe shining in God’s “shekinah” glory. I saw the Lord Jesus’ face with His deep blue eyes full of love, tenderness and compassion! He was holding a lamb in His arms while looking back at His flock. I noticed that the sheep has soiled their coats with mud, dust and dirt as if they just came from a long journey. Then, in the vision, I saw the Lord Jesus stopped, stooped down and began touching one by one the heads of every sheep in His flock. A miraculous thing took place! As soon as the Lord touched the heads of the sheep, their coats were immediately cleansed and became as white as snow! This continued on until every one of them was touched and cleansed by the Lord Jesus! I saw the sheep as fat and as healthy as they can be! Then the Lord spoke to me: “Do the same for the shepherds in your church!” Immediately, this prophetic vision set a powerful direction for the entire CLSF Family for 2012 and beyond!

The prophet Isaiah declares this shepherd heart of the Lord:

“He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.” (Isa 40:11).

David, the shepherd and king of Israel declared: “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want… (Psalm 23: 1-6). Our great and mighty Lord is also a loving and tender shepherd of His people! Psalm 95:7 and Psalm 100:3 declare that we are God’s people and the sheep of His pasture! In the midst of many great things that God is doing, He is still our loving Great Shepherd!

The CLSF national leadership received a strong prophetic direction from the Lord to care for the CLSF KE pastors, elders, missionaries, ministry workers as the Lord would care for them. The Lord also specifically impressed to us to restore those shepherds who have fallen, nurture and heal those who have been injured by sin and life’s circumstances. We have taken the responsibility to start this “new thing” in our church. A healthy and strong shepherd would result into a healthy and strong flock! This is the very first time that we will take the care of our shepherds seriously and with great resolve! This is God’s direction for us as we aim to meet the challenges of 2012 and beyond!

A Great Open Door for the Himalayas

“Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.” Isaiah 56:7

The Himalayas is calling for us! This was the strong impression in my heart as Ate Tanette and I, together with Pastor Ed de Guzman and Pastor Ronn Constable ministered and spoke at the 7th Himalayas Prayer Conference (HPC) in Kathmandu, Nepal last Oct 26-28, 2011 sponsored by Ethnos Asia, a 15 year missions ministry led by Bro. Sonny Largado, a full blooded Filipino and a close friend of ours. Held at a Korean Ministry Center, we ministered for three solid days to more than 120 key pastors and denominational leaders from about ten mountain states in the cold Himalayan region. The Holy Spirit powerfully manifested in the gathering as the anointing freely flowed during our ministry times. Revelations upon revelations opened the eyes of understanding of the participants releasing the fire of holiness and passion to complete the final harvest in this end time dispensation of the Lord.

I felt great release of anointing as I ministered to the people as the word of God abundantly gushed forth like a mighty waterfall. The pastors drank what they could out of the torrents of revelation truths that the Lord enabled us to prophetically teach them! Every one of the participant was blessed as I felt the force of God’s glory coming upon them like a powerful mountain wind sweeping the mountainous region. The Lord dispelled their fears, blew away their discouragements and lifted up their faith as the word of God was trumpeted loud and clear! The whole Himalayan region, also known as the “Roof of the World” is the bastion of Buddhism and Hinduism with significant Muslim percentage. In the Hindu religion, Himalayas is considered as the abode of the Hindu god Shiva. Christianity has been a minority for thousands of years! This situation however will soon change! In line with the prophetic revelation of the new season and final dispensation, a great door was opened for us in particular and the Philippine church in general for the whole Himalayan region. The hearts of pastors and local missionaries from Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Darjeeling, Sikkim, Siliguri, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Pokhara and Nagaland were ignited with the fire of the Lord as a result of the HPC. In one of my sessions, the Lord showed me a vision of a long, thin, silky and shining red crimson veil floating in the wind over the whole Himalayan region. The red crimson veil, representing the blood of the Lord Jesus moved on top of the mountains and went up and circled the mountain peaks of Mount Everest. The Lord spoke to my heart that He is going to visit the nations and peoples of this region and cause the final harvest to be reaped from all the tribes and ethnic groups in this remotest and highest part of the Asian region. I then saw fires being ignited in the churches transforming them into blazing torch that shall set on fire the whole mountain region in this end time outpouring of the Spirit of God.

The Himalayan region, one of the most challenging frontier missions work, is opening its doors for us in fulfillment of our God given calling, responsibility and destiny. Let us enter those doors and help the churches in this amazing region proclaim the gospel on the mountain tops, the “Roof of the World”!

The Warrior Bride Of Christ

“Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come and his wife hath made herself ready.” Revelation 19:7

The Lord has been unveiling tremendous revelations and understanding of great and extremely vital spiritual truths in these Last Days to prepare His church for the end time events and reap the greatest harvest of souls into the Kingdom of God. These months of September and October alone, the Lord has been unfolding deep truths that enable us to understand the nature of the end-time church, the so called Bride of Christ. In the just concluded Metagoshin Prophetic Summit in Ramnad, India last October 7-10, the prophets Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj, Vincent Selvakumar and Robert Misst poured out such an avalanche of revelation truths that we have never heard before but are solidly consistent with Biblical exegesis from a prophetic standpoint.

One of such revelation truths is about the Bride of Christ. This was spoken of in Revelations 19: 7-8 and also in Ephesians 5: 27 as the Apostle Paul referred the church as the bride of Christ. Prophet Robert Misst said that the word “bride” or “wife” takes its original concept from the book of Genesis when the Lord saw that Adam needed a help-meet: “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him” (Gen 2:18). The Hebrew word “help meet” means not merely a helper in doing lowly and mundane tasks but rather a military word that speaks of strength, power and strength in its original ancient meaning. The word “ezer” is a combination of two root words “z-r” to “rescue” or “to save” and “g-z-r” which means “to be strong”. It both cases, the implication is that, the wife or the bride exercises authority and strength to do the task of saving and rescuing. It connotes the exercise of strength and power to engage the enemy so that it is able to subdue the adversary. Therefore, if the church or the end-time bride of Christ is to be made ready in this Last Days, she has to be one that is militant, one that is strong and mighty, one who is a warrior bride! Prophet Robert Misst said that the bride is an assistant or deputy to the commander. As deputy, she exercises the authority and power vested and delegated upon her by the commander! This is the Bride of Christ! She is a warrior bride!

Indeed, the Bride or the church made ready will have a lot of battles to face and overcome in these End Time war for the kingdom of God on the earth. The one at stake are nations and peoples of the earth. Today, the world population has reached a new milestone: 7 Billion people! Majority of this humongous population in our times are young people! Sadly, majority are still in darkness! Many nations and peoples have not even heard the name of Christ! They are imprisoned in darkness and are plundered by Satan and his dark forces! The prophet Isaiah spoke of this in Isaiah 42:22

“But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore!”

Let us be the warrior Bride of Christ! Let us make ourselves ready to set people and nations free!

Unprecedented Prophetic Season

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit… And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” Joel 2:28-29, 32

These past weeks are weeks of birthing new things; an unprecedented prophetic season that we have never seen. Its impact is not only for our nation and people but for all the peoples of the earth. These are the times that the prophets of old have longed to see; a time when the Lord will finally pour out without restrain the rain of the Holy Spirit upon all flesh! The veil that separates heaven’s spiritual realities from the earth’s physical realm is getting thinner and thinner. We are living in the fullness of the times, the “pleroma” that the seers of the scriptures foresaw: the glory of the Lord shall fill the earth as the waters cover the sea (Num 14:21; Hab 2:14)!

Last week, the whole CLSF family of churches all over the Philippines and those in foreign lands joined the whole Body of Christ who has ears to ear the prophetic voice of the Lord in the ten day “Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur” prayer and fasting to welcome the new season of God and enter into the final dispensation of the Lord for mankind all over the earth. No sooner than the prophets like Bro. Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj and Bro. Vincent Selvakumar released the message of the Lord in the “Breaking Prophetic Message” that the Intercessors for the Philippines trumpeted throughout the churches nationwide, the CLSF, being a Philadelphia church, received the word with great open hearts and immediately heeded the call to fast and pray immediately from the “Rosh Hashanah” of September 28 to the “Yom Kippur” of October 8, the ten holiest days of awe for the Jewish people. The prophets Sadhu and Vincent declare that these 10 days were the turning point of history of mankind in our generation: the New Season of God and the Final Dispensation of His redemptive purpose for the whole earth! The Lord will prepare the Bride of Christ for the second coming of the Messiah and reap the final harvest of billions of souls of people from every tribe, tongue and nations.

Prophet Robert Misst, an Anglo-Indian prophet who is now based in New Zealand who spoke in the “Metagoshin Prophetic Summit” hosted by Bro. Sadhu in India declares that we need to prepare ourselves for this new season and final dispensation by having this five state of mind and heart:

  1. WE must have a new vision of the Lord in this season;
  2. We must have an understanding of our role as the Bride of Christ;
  3. We must grow into deep intimacy with the Lord;
  4. We must live in the prophetic zone;
  5. We must perform in the supernatural.

These are extremely important admonitions if we are to be at the forefront of the wave of God’s final dispensation in this new season! I enjoin all CLSF members and leaders to allow the Lord to transform us and be in the right position to receive what the Lord has for us in this unprecedented prophetic season!

Weapons of Warfare

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

The Church is at war! As we entered the season of our Jubilee of Jubilees, more and more we are becoming convinced that the adversary,

Put on the whole armor of God

Satan will not yield the control of this nation without a fight. With the chain of events that transpired: the recent bloody hostage taking at the Luneta Grandstand; the continuing prevalence of crimes and violence; the resurgence of the worship of the false Mary, the poverty and destitution of our poor people; the shocking oppression and exploitation of many of our overseas Filipino workers (OFW), etc. We, as the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, need to Read the rest of this entry »
