Pentecost and the Power of the Age to Come

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Acts 2:1-4

The Church was born in the most difficult of circumstances. The early believers of the Lord Jesus Christ have to come against the great religious and political forces of their time. The first Christians, being purely Jews had to endure tremendous persecution among their countrymen for coming out of their Judaism, the Jewish faith based on the Old Testament Laws which, in reality, were foreshadows of the true Messiah which they rejected, the Lord Jesus Christ (Isaiah 26:16; Acts 4: 11-12; I Pet 2: 4-6). The ruling political power of their time was the great Roman Empire who have subjugated and oppressed Israel and was violently hostile against the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. Despite of all these tremendous odds, the believers multiplied vigorously and the word of the Lord, the gospel went from Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8; 2: 41-47; 17: 6). What was the key to the early Church’s great success? Biblical history tells us the key: The outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon God’s redeemed people on the Day of Pentecost!

This week, we celebrate one of the important Feasts of the Lord: The Feast of Pentecost (Exo 23: 16; Lev 23: 15-16). Today, the whole Christian world celebrates Pentecost Sunday! The Lord Jesus Himself, appearing to His disciples after His resurrection, promised the coming of this special day of the Holy Spirit outpouring when he instructed His faithful followers (Acts 1: 5,8). It was exactly 50 days after the Lord Jesus’ crucifixion and death that the Holy Spirit came in power filling the 120 remnants of the Lord’s followers with His power manifested in cloven tongues of fire (Acts 2: 1-4). It was the birth of the glorious church of the Lord Jesus Christ! The Apostle Peter, explaining to the people in Jerusalem what they were witnessing declared that this phenomenon was what the prophet Joel declared in Joel 2: 28-29. The church grew in power from the Pentecost experience in that Upper Room and the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth.

It is important to remember that the First Pentecost that happened in Israel was marked by the giving of the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai, fifty days after their first Passover celebration the night before they came out of Egypt. The Second Pentecost came 50 days after the Lord Jesus, the Passover Lamb, offered His life on the cross for the redemption of all mankind. Today, we look forward to the third and final Pentecost when God will pour out His Spirit once again in an unlimited measure to all flesh of every nation, tribe and tongue! This is final Pentecost, the manifestation of the power of the “Age to Come” that will mark the freedom of those whom God will redeem from the power of Sin and death from the four corners of the earth! Indeed, God will have a people for Himself (Rev 7:9) and the Lord Jesus Christ will have His Bride (Rev 19:7).

Mounting Up With Wings of Eagles

AN INSIGHT TO THE 2013 MID TERM ELECTIONS

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk,and not faint.” Isaiah 40:29-31

A great, significant part of the Body of Christ in the Philippines took heed to the prophetic directive to “Contend for our Destiny!” in the 2013 mid-term elections. The Philippines for Jesus Movement (PJM) and the Intercessors for the Philippines (IFP) spearheaded a great army of Christian groups and faith-based organization in joining the Bangon Pilipinas Political Party and the Jesus Is Lord Church (JIL) in the vigorous campaign activities for Bro. Eddie Villanueva, one of the country’s top Christian leaders in his candidacy for a Senate seat. An even greater part of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ was led to get involved in vision of electing a true servant of God in the Senate in the person of Bro. Eddie. Even traditional denominations who never endorse political candidates broke their tradition by endorsing Bro. Eddie! A long list of Christian churches and denominations joined us in supporting the candidacy of Bro. Eddie like: The National Council of Churches of the Philippines; the United Pentecostal Church; the Pentecostal Missionary Church (Fourthwatch); the Jesus Miracle Crusade; the Seventh Day Adventist Church; Jesus Miracle Crusade; Jesus, Our Shield Ministry and many other nationwide and worldwide ministries united together in endorsing Bro. Eddie with a view to put a righteous, God-fearing man in the halls of Senate. It was a battle for righteousness not only of Bro. Eddie but by all God-fearing Filipinos who believe that only true righteousness that comes from God can exalt this nation and fulfil her God-given destiny in this generation.

The spiritual foundation for this battle was strongly laid. Much prayers, fasting, supplications and intercessions were done spearheaded by IFP. The campaign activities were led by Bangon Pilipinas and the JIL Ministry. Despite of the relative insufficiency of funds for a decent campaign, we all did good with the thousands of churches and church denominations forming the core of the campaign army. It was an intense and vigorous three months of the campaign! Once again, we adopted the “all hands on deck” stance setting aside a solid three months campaigning in every place that we could go and to every person that we could talk to. Amazingly, the unbelievers themselves were the ones telling us that Bro. Eddie is a sure win! This time, he will make it! Our faith and expectation soar to the heavens! Indeed, this is the time! We all went to the polling stations with these ammunitions- our faith, prayers and passion! We all voted and mostly shaded only one senatorial candidate-that is Bro. Eddie. We fed our ballot to this machine called PCOS (Precinct Count Optical Scan) and received the assuring word “Congatulations!” from its display screen. We can hardly wait for the result when the counting began that evening. We anticipated that Bro. Eddie will land in the top five of the so called “magic twelve” among the 33 senate aspirants. Our faith was strong and our expectations were sky high!

It was when the early returns came that a sudden familiar feeling began to creep in! When the first 5,000 votes were transmitted, Bro. Eddie was just in the 19th position in the ranking! We started to feel a painful suspicion that this ominous trend will remain… and to our dismay, it did. Now after 68% of the votes were transmitted, Bro. Eddie’s position remained at the 19th position receiving some 5.5 million votes whereas the top candidates received more than 14 million votes! A feeling of discouragement began to creep in our hearts and minds. Many were asking where did our votes go? Were they really counted? Is this another heinous case of whole sale electronic cheating subverting the will of our people and the Almighty God Himself? Anger and frustration begin to knock at the door of my heart. Before I could open it, I heard the still, small voice of the Lord: “I am in control! I show the greatness of My power when My people are in the least of their strength…” The Lord then led me to Isaiah 40, the whole chapter. I read and meditated upon this great passage when Israel felt that the Lord did not hear their cries and prayers. The Lord powerfully spoke to me that He will turn the works of men (cheating, bribery, manipulations, etc.) like the grass of the field- they will wither away and dry up and be remembered no more… but the word of the Lord (His promises, purposes, our nation’s glorious destiny) will endure forever!

Yes, my brothers and sisters in the CLSF family, the promises of God for our nation and people will come to pass! All the works of wicked men will dry up and fade away. If we continue to wait on the Lord and trust His promises, He shall renew our strength, we shall mount up with wings as eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint! His promises to Bro. Eddie will stand, His promises to us will not fail, His glorious destiny for our nation will come to pass!

Contending for the Nation’s Destiny

The May 13, 2013 Mid-Term Elections

“Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Isaiah 66:8

The army of God received the marching orders from the prophets: “Contend for your destiny! Fight for the promises of God!” This powerful prophetic directive echoed through the halls of Cuneta Astrodome during the past three National Prayer Gatherings (NPG) of the Intercessors for the Philippines (IFP). Since we have declared our 490th Year Jubilee Season last March 16, 2010, it has been an intense spiritual battle ever since! The Christ, the Living Stone Fellowship (CLSF), being a fore runner church in the prophetic, took heed of the trumpet call to contend for our destiny. We have been at the forefront of the new moves of God, together with many prophetic churches all over the land. We have taken heed to the voice of God when the Lord declared that He is calling the church to establish 24- Hour Houses of Prayers (24HHP) some three years ago. We have been riding the waves of the Holy Spirit for the past 24 years and have taken the forefront in obeying the prophetic directives of God for the Body of Christ in the nation.

The CLSF, together with all the IFP aligned churches all over the nation are taking heed in this battle for our destiny. Stirred up by the fresh promises of God declared in the last 24th NPG at the Cuneta Astrodome last April 9-12, CLSF joined the IFP initiated nationwide 21- Day Prayer and Fasting with a culminating 72 Hour Worship, Warfare and Intercession (WWI) for the last three days of the fast. We did not only pray and intercede but also boldly plunged in the midst of the campaign when Bro. Eddie Villanueva, one of the leaders of the Body of Christ in the Philippines, decided to put his life on the line to take heed to the prophetic call to contend for our destiny by running for a seat in the Senate in tomorrow’s mid-term elections. It was a great struggle and extreme sacrifice on Bro. Eddie’s part to run again after two political setbacks but eventually decided to obey God and fulfill his role in charting the destiny of the nation to become a righteous, blessed and missionary sending nation in these Last Days.

Tomorrow, May 13, will be a very crucial mid- term elections not only for our political life but also for our prophetic season. Out of the 33 candidates vying for a national seat at the Senate, there is a new breed of candidates that is not in the mold of the traditional and mostly corrupted politicians. Led by Bro. Eddie Villanueva (#31) of the Bangon Pilipinas of which our very own, Bishop “Kuya” Dan is one of its key leaders, this fresh breed of candidates carries spiritual and moral principles as foundations for their political platforms. They are the Davids called and destined to slay the wicked and uncircumcised political Goliaths of the land in this generation! They dared to defy odds setting their face like a flint in face of adversities and seemingly impossible political realities! They dare to believe that there is hope for this nation when God’s people and righteousness-loving Filipinos unite to put an end to the culture of corruption and self-serving political leaders!

The Prophetic Church, those “hill-ascenders and God-seekers” that the Psalmist spoke about in Psalm 24, the Jacobs of our generation has step up to the challenge. They took heed of the call to contend for our destiny! They pray and fast for the past 24 years and stepped up their travails for the past three years upon the revelation of our 490th Jubilee season! Like the prophet Habakkuk, they dared to cling tightly to the promises of God, embracing to them and never letting them go as they weather the storms of unbelief, mockery, false accusations and hatred of the heathen and the unbelieving pretenders among their brethren. The important thing is that they heard from God and saw with their spiritual eyes the glorious destiny that God has reserved for those who will contend and fight and are willing to pay the price, even with their own lives (Dan 11: 32; Rev 12:11). These warriors are the ones who would do mighty exploits because they know their God!

Let us continue to fast, pray and do exploits with God and for God! Let us all pray and proclaim that the Lord’s prophetic agenda will continue to arise in our nation as she enters the threshold of prophetic fulfillment! In this destiny-defining mid- term elections, let us diligently and passionately pray that Bro. Eddie Villanueva and the other genuinely God-fearing principled candidates will find favour in the eyes of the Filipino people! Let us pray that Bro. Eddie will land in the top five of those who will be elected in the senate! Let us contend for our destiny! Victory is at hand!

Warriors of Destiny

“And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.” Obadiah 1:21

Tomorrow, May 13, is a very crucial day for the nation not only politically but also prophetically. It is our 2013 mid- term elections that would put into our Senate and Congress the next set of lawmakers of the land. It will also the elections when new set of local executives like governors, mayors, provincial council members and city/ town council members will be elected. For many decades, the electoral process has deteriorated to rock bottom level. For many years, the democratic electoral process has been terribly marred by senseless violence and bloodshed, massive cheating and manipulation of the election results, vote buying and bribery, abuse of power of incumbent officials, massive use of blood money in expensive campaigns and many other acts of wickedness. Families in power have morally violated the constitutional prohibition against political dynasties blatantly and shamelessly boasted their political stranglehold in vast number of elective positions. Many provinces, towns and cities have been dominated by single families using the massive power and resources within their control to make sure that they will continue to rule protecting their vested interest enriching themselves by stashing away public funds in hundreds of subtle and cunning ways. The prophets declared that we are at the forked road of our destiny: One road leads to righteousness, restoration and blessings; the other one leads to worsening wickedness, destitution and destruction!

The prophets encouraged us to: “Contend for our destiny and fight for God’s promises!” These strong and urgent prophetic directives have been trumpeted over and over for the past three years during the National Prayer Gatherings (NPG) held by the Intercessors for the Philippines (IFP). From March 2010 when we prophetically declared our Jubilee season, it has been no less than an intense spiritual battle of attrition! Amazingly, the Lord has raised up a generation of “deliverers and saviours” as spoken of by the prophet Obadiah (Obadiah 1:21). While a significant part of the Body of Christ is still sleeping in a state of prophetic stupor, there is a generation of Jacobs (Psalm 24: 6)n that intensely seek the Lord, hear from Him and receive the spiritual strength to contend and fight for the nation’s prophetic destiny. These are the warriors of destiny: From pastors and intercessors who hear and believes the word of the Lord who contend through prayers and intercession to specially called men of God like Bro. Eddie Villanueva who put his life in the line running for a senate seat in obedience to the call of the Lord in this “kairos” hour.

The IFP leads these warriors of destiny. We blew the Jubilee “shofar” upon the revelation of the Lord for our change of season; we sound the alarm in different occasions when the Body of Christ needed to be awakened, assembled to worship and pray and rallied for the battle (Num 10), we mobilize the church to fast and pray nationwide as we enter the threshold of our destiny! Three years into our Jubilee decade, our destiny is within reach! Let us be the warriors of destiny that God is looking for! Let us pray, campaign and support those who have heard the prophetic call and put their lives on the line!

The Blessings God has for the Philippines

24th National Prayer Gathering (NPG)

“Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” Jeremiah 1:11-12

The just concluded 24th National Prayer Gathering (NPG) of the Intercessors for the Philippines (IFP) held last April 9-12, 2013 at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City became the stage for the word of the Lord to be proclaimed to our beloved nation, the Philippines. The main speakers, prophets Bro. Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj and Bro. Vincent Selvakumar released powerful prophetic words that all the more solidify God’s glorious promises for our nation highlighting the great urgency that we, the church of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Philippines, must consider and take heed in seizing our prophetic destiny in this End Time hour.

The blessings were released with serious warnings of judgments and calamities if the church is remiss in her role to stand in the gap on behalf of the nation (Ezek 22:30). Bishop “Kuya” Dan Balais, the National Chairman of the IFP and the Senior Pastor and Spiritual Director of CLSF said that there is no other time that it is crucial for the Philippines Church to raise up a faithful remnant in the nation, the intercessors who hear the word of the Lord and discern the times and seasons of God and stand in the gap before God and the nation as the “corporate man” that the Lord is looking for in this “kairos” hour in the nation.
Prophet Vincent Selvakumar declared that the blessings of the Lord for the Philippines are plentiful as follows:

• There will rise up a Prophetic Generation, prophetic churches in the Phil. Your ministers will do great works all over the Phil. God will raise up mighty men. The Prophetic Anointing will cover all over the land.
• The last days angels will manifest to you. God’s counsels will continually come to you. Signs in heaven will appear to you. God will speak to you. A huge group of people will tangibly see angels. God will give power to children, taken to heaven.
• Mighty Revival will come upon the Philippines
• God has kept many physical/ financial blessings for you.
• God will prevent calamities.
• God will establish righteousness in your nation. He will establish righteous foundations.
• He will enlarge evangelism, increase harvest.
• He will bless your economy, hidden treasures under our feet will be revealed. OFW’s will come back to the Phil. Many people will develop industries in the Phil, even foreign investors which will give many jobs. These are all the physical blessings for the Phil.
• The work of your hands will be prosperous. God blessed Isaac, hundred-fold harvest even if no rain. We believe in God who gives the harvest. God will bless the works of your hands – business, no dryness in works of our hands, many inventors.

WHEN WE OBEY HIM, WE WILL INHERIT ALL THESE BLESSINGS. THE NATION, CHURCH MUST TURN TO GOD. A nation’s blessings or curses are in the hands of believers. God has kept His eyes on the Philippines. He wants to bless you, but we need to obey. YOU WILL INHERIT THE PROMISES IN A SHORT TIME. Wait for the purposes of God to be fulfilled. Be watchful and serve the Lord.

The Nation on a Critical Crossroad

“The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance” Psalm 33:11-12

The coming May 13 mid-term elections put our nation on a critical crossroad. The prophets declared that once again, the Lord is giving the nation a second chance to take hold of our destiny! Fittingly, the Intercessors for the Philippines (IFP) was led by the Lord to make the theme of the 24th National Prayer Gathering (NPG) to reflect this crucial hour: “The Philippines at the Threshold of Prophetic Fulfillment”. With all the recent manifestations of “almond branch” blessings of God to our nation like our miraculous economic resurrection, the government’s thrust towards “Daang Matuwid” or righteous governance and the restoration of the nation’s dignity and honour, there are so many things that we must thank God for since the proclamation of our Jubilee of Jubilees last March 2010!

With a few critical and decisive steps, we will be riding on the momentum of God’s blessings and favour. Like giving birth to a child, we have to press on and make the final push for the birth of a new nation. The prophet Isaiah declared: “Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” (Isa 66:8). A new Philippines is about to be born! We need to press on in our travails of fasting, prayers and intercessions! The Lord spoke to us strongly through His prophets that we need to contend for our destiny! We need to fight the spiritual battles to bind the powers of darkness that is bent on preventing us in receiving the promises of God in this “Kairos” hour! We need to raise up the spiritual army of God who will persevere as watchmen over the walls of this nation until her righteousness goes forth as brightness and her salvation as a lamp that burns (Isaiah 62:1).

As we enter the last week of our 21 Days Prayer and Fasting Chain (April 21-May 12) which will be culminated with a 72- Hour Worship Warfare and Intercession (WWI) at the very doorstep of our 2013 Mid Term Elections, we need to be focused, determined and willing to pay the price to possess our inheritance! Bro Eddie Villanueva had taken heed of the mandate to contend for our destiny by running for a senate seat this coming May 13 elections. The whole Body of Christ have supported Bro. Eddie with faith, passion and positive actions campaigning for him the best way we can! Much strategic prayers and prophetic proclamations have been done! For the past three years, saturation prayers in the 24 Hour Houses of Prayers (24HHP) have been established in 76 provinces of the nation! We are trying to do the best we can; in the end, it will be the merciful hand of the Almighty God who will bring us to our promised land!

After decades of intercession, we are standing at the critical crossroad: Let us determine to choose the path of obedience to God’s prophetic words and receive His precious promises and blessings in our generation!

The Seven Gateway Cities of the Nation

“Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.” Psalm 24:7

The past two weeks after the 24th National Prayer Gathering (NPG) was a super busy week for me and the Board Members of the Intercessors for the Philippines! The Lord has impressed to Prophets Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj and Vincent Selvakumar that they need to visit and pray in these Seven Gateway Cities of Revival (SGCR) of the Philippines that the Lord supernaturally spoke through Prophet Vincent last 21st NPG. They were instructed by the Lord to proclaim the word of the Lord to these SGCRs and impart to the churches of these cities the prophetic and watchman anointing so that the Lord’s prophetic purposes shall come to pass. Right after the 24th NPG and the subsequent 1st National Youth Prophetic Training held at CCT Campsite in Tagaytay City, we have to embark on a number of rigorous, intense and highly strategic prayer assignments to these gateway cities led by the two Indian prophets that the Lord sent to speak our nation’s destiny before God’s people.

These Gateway Cities that were prophetically revealed are Legazpi, Cagayan de Oro, Lipa, Pampanga (province), Pateros, Baguio and Manila. The prophets, together with the IFP Board and some IFP Key leaders, went to each one of these gateway cities, did prayer walks, intercessions, prophetic proclamations and released Aaronic blessings to them. After these prayer walks and intercessions, Prophets Sadhu and Vincent spoke in prophetic prayer gatherings hastily but effectively organized by IFP Coordinators of those places. These prophetic prayer assignments were met with tremendous and overwhelming response of the churches of these chosen revival places! Except for Manila who was not able to have a prophetic prayer gathering, all the rest of the places were able to organize half day prophetic conferences to give a chance for the pastors and intercessors of their cities to hear the prophets release the specific prophetic word of the Lord. Outstanding among them in terms of attendance were Cagayan de Oro (3,500 pastors and intercessors in attendance at Limketkai Mall Atrium); Pampanga (1,500 in attendance at Heroes Hall of San Fernando); Legazpi (1,200 at International School Gymnasium) and Baguio (550 at Albergo de Ferroca Hotel). It was indeed a strategic prophetic season for those cities who received the word of the Lord with wide open hearts! They also commit themselves to do everything that is needed to make sure that God’s great and wonderful plan to make their cities as the passageways of the mighty revival that shall sweep upon the land!

Indeed, 2013 is our Passover Year where we are entering the threshold of our prophetic fulfillment! The month of April, in this third year of our Jubilee Season, coincided with the Passover month of Israel where they were set free from 400 years of slavery in Egypt! For the Philippines, this is our 490th Year, our Jubilee of Jubilees! The gateways have been opened! It is now for us, the end time prophetic church, to make the final push and vigorously and valiantly contend for our destiny! Let us usher in through our prayers, fasting, proclamations and actions the coming of the Lord Jesus, the King of Glory upon our beloved land!

21-Days Prayer and Fasting Points

INTERCESSORS FOR THE PHILIPPINES
(April 21 to May 12, 2013)

The past 24th NPG Conference was really very significant. The number 24 in the scriptures signify government and fulfillment. The prophets said that the Philippines is now standing at the threshold for the fulfillment of the prophetic destiny for the Philippines. The next stage is into the promises.

We should not take this lightly. If we will be serious in obeying all the instructions of God, praying and contending for the fulfillment of all of God’s glorious plans and purposes of God for the Philippines to be a Prince Nation to disciple Asia and be a missionary-sending nation, we will ride in the boat of God’s awesome plans for the Philippines. The prophets said, “One more step! Don’t give up, endure to the end!”
This year is our significant year. We have this one year, 2013, to have our breakthrough, not next year. By 2014 we should be immersed in our destiny, the prophet said. How we need to intercede. We cannot afford to let go, to let our guards down nor take a spiritual vacation.

WE TRULY NEED TO PRAY AND DO WARFARE FOR THE DESTINY OF THE PHILIPPINES. We are at the threshold of its fulfillment, but at the same time we are at the crossroads. We will see the glorious promises and blessings of God upon the Philippines if we pray and fast passionately, repent of the sins of the land (her people, princes and the church), sanctify ourselves, stand in the gap and do spiritual warfare. If we don’t, we will reap the terrible judgments upon our nation that God has revealed to the prophets. A nation’s blessings or curses are in the hands of the believers through prayer and intercession.

Let us therefore pray with a deep burden in our hearts for the following:

Pray for God to fill the hearts of His faithful servants and people (children, youth, old men and women) with A DEEP BURDEN FOR INTERCESSION FOR THE DESTINY OF OUR NATION, to be filled by God with the Spirit of Prayer and Intercession, with the Spirit of Tears from God, so that a Prayer Wave of travail and intercession will cover the whole Philippines, repenting and interceding for the fulfillment of God’s destiny for our nation.
2. LET US CONTEND FOR GOD’S PROPHETIC DESTINY FOR THE PHILIPPINES. Pray that the church will be careful to truly believe all of God’s promises for the Philippines, review and obey God in all His instructions to us through His anointed prophets, rend our hearts and pray ardently for the fulfillment of God’s glorious End-time plan for the Philippines. Pray for all of God’s promises and blessings (the Great Harvest and Revival in the Philippines, the transformation of the nation (all 8 pillars) to righteousness, all the economic blessings so that the work of His kingdom can be financed bountifully).
3. LET US PRAY FOR GOD’S MERCY TO FORGIVE AND DELIVER THE PHILIPPINES FROM THE JUDGMENTS that He has ordained for the nation if we don’t repent of the sins of the land and obey His instructions.
   Holy Spirit saying to the Phil: “TAKE THESE WORDS, YOUR CALL SERIOUSLY, for there has not been another nation like your nation that has received this tremendous call. Angels will come down to the Philippines and do warfare against your enemies.”
   But at the same time, if you fail in your calling, great will be your destruction. Matt. 25:13-30 Parable of Talents – unprofitable servant cast out into Outer Darkness. Likewise, if the Philippines disobeys, she will experience the same. WE NEED TO CONTEND FOR OUR DESTINY!
4. LET US PRAY FOR THE 7 GATEWAY CITIES (Legaspi, Lipa, Pampanga, Pateros, Cagayan de Oro, Baguio and Manila) prophesied to be the first recipients of the mighty Revival from God, that God’s mighty wind of Revival from the Holy Spirit will come upon them, fulfilling His glorious promises for each one of them.
5. LET US PRAY FOR THE YOUTH & CHILDREN, as they are the mighty Army God wants to rise up for these last days’ ministry. Pray for the Spirit of Prayer and Tears be upon them, that they might continually intercede and do warfare for the destiny of the Philippines and for the establishment of God’s kingdom not only in the Philippines, but in other nations of the world as well, especially Asia. Pray for God’s Prophetic Anointing to be upon them. Pray for God to sanctify them, deliver them from the spirit of the world, equip and prepare them for the mighty exploits that God will be doing through them. Pray that God will preserve them and save them from all the attacks of the enemy.
6. FOR GOD’S RELEASE OF HIS DIVINE GOVERNMENT UPON THE PHILIPPINES, that His scepter of righteousness will be upon the nation. This is God’s New Season and we are in our Jubilee. Let us pray and stand in faith that God will answer this prayer. Twenty-four (24) is the number of government, and the pillar of the government plays a major and very significant role in the fulfillment of God’s desire that the Philippines become a righteous Prince Nation for Asia. We cannot blame the politicians. When we pray, the leaders of the nation will do well. God has a big desire to bless the Philippines and fulfill her glorious End-Time destiny, and the government plays a major and very significant role in God’s plans for the Philippines.
   The coming elections on May 13 is very critical in God’s agenda. Let us therefore pray for the following:
   a. PRAY FOR THE COMING ELECTIONS ON MAY 13, FOR BRO. EDDIE TO BE ELECTED AS SENATOR. This is not about Bro. Eddie, but for the sake of God’s glorious End-times plan for the Philippines to be a righteous and missionary-sending nation in these End-times. Pray for God’s favor to be upon him, and that God will grant favor on him in the hearts and minds of the electorate. Pray against all works of the enemy against Bro. Eddie’s bid.
   b. THAT GOD WILL INSTALL RIGHTEOUS LEADERS in our nation at all levels of governance, especially those running for the Senate and the House of Representatives which have the power to legislate righteous or wicked bills like divorce, same sex marriage, euthanasia, abortion, ban of prayer in government offices, etc. Pray for God’s mighty hand and favor be upon Bro. Lyndon Cana for congressman, Bro. Greco Belgica for senator, Sis. Amy Borje for congressman, Among Ed for governor of Pampanga and other righteous people running for positions in the local governments.
7. PRAY FOR THE RAISING UP OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST IN THE PHILIPPINES conformed to the nature of the Lord Jesus in all love and meekness that she might rule with Him in God’s kingdom in the Philippines, and be prepared for the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus as His spotless Bride.

The First National Youth Prophetic Training

“Your people will volunteer when you call up your army. Your young people will come to you in holy splendor like dew in the early morning.” Psalm 110:3

The Intercessors for the Philippines (IFP) once again spearheaded a ground-breaking event for the youth last April 15-19, 2013 as it hosted the First National Youth Prophetic Training (NYPT) at the beautiful and scenic campsite of the Center for Community Transformation (CCT) in Tagaytay City. Following the heels of the just concluded, powerful 24th NPG, more than 550 eager and excited young people attended the first- ever event participated by youth leaders from all over the nation with ages 29 and below. Some 50 pastors were also there to provide spiritual covering over their young people and assist IFP staff in facilitating the event. It was a dawning of a new prophetic movement among the young people whom the prophets declared as God’s secret weapons for these Last Days!

The main speakers and spiritual trainers for this event were prophets Bro. Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj and Bro. Vincent Selvakumar of India with Pastor Joe Sweet of the USA. Pastor Ed de Guzman, Bro. Wyden King and I provided the apostolic covering for the young people speaking in their early morning devotionals while Pastor Bong Valencia of our CLSF U-Belt and Pastor Joel Bataclan helped in facilitating the intensive, five- day program. Ate Nona Londonio handled the huge administrative aspect of the event ably assisted by the whole complement of the ever efficient IFP Staff headed by Ate Jasmin Sapungay and Ate Raceli Advincula, both from CLSF. Like laboring in birth pains for a new baby (Gal 4:19), the IFP leadership determined to make the push for Christ to be formed among the hundreds of youth leaders who enlisted in God’s End- Time army. Waves upon waves of prophetic revelations were poured out by the prophets Sadhu, Vincent and Pastor Joe Sweet! Rivers of prophetic anointing and impartations were released from ankle deep waters, then knee deep, waist deep until it became a river that could not be crossed, so deep and wide prophetically correspondent to the anointing that the prophet Ezekiel saw in Ezekiel 47 1-12 that will come upon the whole earth! Indeed, it was a prophetic moment that we seized, a “kairos” time that boldly redeemed for our destiny as a nation!

For five days, the Lord poured out generously His power and grace upon the young people. A call for martyrdom were made by the prophets to which the young people responded with tremendous and serious acceptance willing to pay the ultimate price for God’s Kingdom to come upon the nation and His will be done throughout the earth! Tears of brokenness, repentance and cleansing flowed so generously day after day, hour after hour as the prophets released such anointed utterances unheard of by the Church in many generations past! Heavenly manifestations of angels, wind and fire came upon the participants as torrents of prophetic mysteries flowed to 550 willing and thirsty hearts! The five- day event was capped with a commissioning prophetic prayer for the pastors and a solemn and powerful anointing service for all the young participants! The Warrior Bride has risen, and the young people have willingly taken the frontline!

21-Day Fasting and Prayers

“And I set my face to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and
supplications, with fasting and sackcloth and ashes…” Daniel 9:3

The Philippines stands today at the threshold of prophetic fulfillment! Our nation, being recipient of a glorious prophetic destiny as a righteous, “sheep” nation; a prosperous “prince” nation; and a missionary-sending nation has long been waiting for this glorious time of favour (Psalm 102:13)! That time has come! Last March 16, 2010, the Intercessors for the Philippines (IFP) led the Body of Christ in proclaiming the 490th Year Jubilee of Jubilees since we were discovered as a nation and since the cross was planted our shores (March 16, 1521) that made us the first Christian nation in the Far East. The year 2010 was a marker year for us for our change of season (Dan 2: 20-21) in accordance with God’s dispensation of His grace and mercy in such a “kairos” time (Dan 9:24).

Miraculously, there was indeed an avalanche of tremendous ground-breaking positive changes in the nation beginning with the year 2010. In the Church, the Lord poured out His spirit of grace and supplication unto His people as thousands of churches all over the nation joined in the 24 Hour Houses of Prayers; the Body of Christ also experienced tremendous healing of relationships and new, covenantal unity among our national church leaders. Revival among the young people began to break out in many places in the nation. As an immediate result, the Philippine economy rose to unprecedented heights just on the third year of our Jubilee proclamation. The Philippines is now a lender nation, recently promoted to an investment grade (BBB+) status, with an all-time high of US$84 billion Gross International Reserves (GIR). The stock market at the Philippines Stock Exchange (PSE) is at 6,900 points and soon to breach 7,000 points, the highest ever in our history! The new generation of Philippine peso bills bears the foundational scripture in Psalm 33:12 and is now enjoying the lofty distinction of being among the two most stable currencies in the world! To top it all, our present government led by our President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III adopted as his battle cry “Matuwid na Landas” or the straight path (righteousness) as its foundational principle of governance reaping tremendous results in promoting a culture of integrity and good governance!

This coming May 13, 2013 will be our mid-term elections! The nation will again come to a critical stage of her transformation towards righteousness and blessing or slide back to wickedness, corruption, judgments and calamities. In the just concluded 24th National Prayer Gathering, the prophets Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj, Vincent Selvakumar and Pastor Joe Sweet spoke of both tremendous, destiny propelling blessings if we take heed of the word of the Lord as a nation or suffer terrible judgments, horrible plagues and fatal calamities if we disregard and disobey the word of the Lord! We are in the cusp of blessings or judgments as Israel was at the threshold of the same as enumerated in Deuteronomy 28: 1-68! In response to this extremely crucial hour, the IFP therefore is calling for a nationwide 21-Day of Fasting and Prayers from April 21 to May 12 with the last three days (May 10, 11 and 12) to be a 72-Hour Worship Warfare and Intercession (WWI) to be staged in many participating prayer networks and ministerial fellowships in the various provinces, cities and towns all over the land.

Let us therefore continue to be fervent and unrelenting in our prayers, zealous in our gospel proclamations and persevering in discipling our nation to establish a righteous and God-fearing people. Most of all, let us continue to enlarge the jurisdiction of the Kingdom of God, building Him a house of worship, prayer and sacrifice so that He will continue to dwell with us and enable us to fulfill our God given destiny as a righteous nation, a blessed nation and a missionary sending nation in these Last Days! Indeed, this is our time! Let us seize our destiny in this moment of our prophetic fulfillment!
