Days of Prophetic Fulfillment

“Your people will volunteer when you call up your army. Your young people will come to you in holy splendor like dew in the early morning” Psalm 110:3

The just concluded 22nd National Prayer Gathering (NPG) of the Intercessors for the Philippines (IFP) seems to have opened up a new season of prophetic fulfillment in our beloved nation. Attended by a record crowd of some 12,000 people, the 22nd NPG was the biggest attendance ever in NPG’s twenty two years history. More importantly, the Lord has poured out a new and powerful prophetic anointing upon the young people that gave birth to an End-Time prophetic company in our nation. An estimated 7,000 young people responded to the call to consecration and received an impartation from the three prophets that ministered in the gathering namely Bro. Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj and Bro. Vincent Selvakumar from India; and Pastor Neville Johnson of Australia.

The powerful impact of the 22nd NPG was immediately felt by the churches whose people participated in that historic gathering. Many testimonies of spiritual breakthroughs and genuine, drastic life changing transformation spread across Metro Manila and in many cities and towns across the nation. Our church became the immediate recipient of the new prophetic anointing upon our people. During the second Boot Camp Training that was held April 21-22, the Lord mightily moved in the sessions attended by some 370 participants excluding the KE Pastors, Elders and doulos. More than 500 people filled the CLSF sanctuary in that spiritually charged gathering. Session after session, the Lord powerfully imparted to the young participants revelation truths which they received with remarkable openness and receptivity. The Boot Camp was culminated by a water baptism on the final day where all the 370 participants were baptized followed by a baptism in the Holy Spirit. Amazing testimonies followed afterwards where 99% of the participants spoke in tongues with everybody experiencing supernatural manifestations of the power of God! It is indeed a prophetic fulfillment of what the the Lord’s prophets declared! By God’s mercy and grace, the CLSF is in the forefront of this new move of God!

Psalm 110: 1-3 speaks of this events transpiring in the Last Days! The Lord has appointed a prophetic time when the Lord will release His power to His people. The Lord declares that out of Zion, He will send the rod or scepter of His strength so that His people shall be empowered to rule over their enemies. The messianic Psalm also specifically prophesied that God’s people in general and the young people in particular shall volunteer in the day of His power. We are in the last of the last Days! The times are perilous (II Tim 3: 1-5); they will be filled with troubles and great calamities (Matt 24: 1-13); but they are times also of great outpouring of God’s Spirit and great exploits for the people of God (Isaiah 60: 1-2)! The Lord is preparing us for the great End Time harvest! God will have a people for Himself! The bride of Christ is now being made ready! The destiny of the nation will finally be pushed by this prophetic generation! Yes, indeed! We are living in the days of prophetic fulfillment!

A Boost from the Boot Camp

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

God’s presence touched the lives of 333 brethren last April 21-22 during the second CLSF Boot Camp. Held in the CLSF Central Church, the Boot camp was fitting given the theme of ‘Nation of Davids’. As you might have noticed, April 21- 22 was Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. Aside from the fact that the summer heat has long hit our country, it has been a custom of Filipinos to hit the road for a vacation during the holy week. And yet amidst this, the CLSF sanctuary was filled with his people. Most of the 333 attendees of the said camp were young people, which is already an evidence of God’s move amongst his people.

After the recently concluded 22nd National Prayer Gathering held in Cuneta Astrodome, the prophets emphasized that we are in the last of the last days and an end time prophetic company must rise up for God. The 2nd Boot Camp is a fitting followup to the 22nd National Prayer Gathering.

During the two-day boot camp, the elders and other pastors fleshed out teachings from Bro. Neville Johnson’s book the First Principles which tackled about the foundations necessary for us to enter and live in the Kingdom of God. Just like in a building, its foundations are important. The strength of the building lies on its foundation. Place wrong foundations, and surely your building would’nt last a storm or an earthquake.

Pastor Peter Reyes gave the camp a headstart by opening it with the Introduction of the foundations. He introduced us to the foundations – namely, Repentance from Dead Works, Faith towards God, The Doctrine of Baptisms, Laying on of Hands, The Ressurection of the Dead and Eternal Judgement- that we would be tackling during the next two days. The next lesson was about the 1st foundation – Repentance from Dead works, taught by Sis. Nette Sombilla. This foundation talks about true repentance and how it should be a way of life for us. The second foundation on the other hand, taught by Sis. Alice Alonso, which talked about Faith towards God. Without Faith, we cannot please God. The third foundation was about the Doctrine of Baptisms, which was taught by Ptr. Arman Abad. He explained the three kind of baptisms and how important it is to our lives as Christians. This lesson also prepared the hearts of the participants for the highlight of the event, the simultaneous baptism of the campers in water, the Holy Spirit and Fire. The 1st day of the camp was closed by Ptr. Peter Reyes as he spoke about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The first day was indeed blessed by God and as we went home, I knew that the second day would be far more greater.

The second day was opened by Sis. Lorna Reyes with the teaching of the Baptism of Fire. Out of all the three baptisms, the Baptism of Fire is something new to me. I heard Bishop Dan talk about it during the Workers’ Camp and how he saw the Ministers of Fire. But unlike the Water Baptism and Baptism of the Holy Spirit which was talked more in the Church, the Baptism of Fire is something I just knew recently. The Baptism of Fire is for purging and refining God’s people. Ptr. London Londonio taught about the fourth foundation which was the Laying of Hands. I’m quite familiar with this because it’s something we do in Church. But what surprised me is that, it had four purposes. I thought that it was merely for healing the sick and blessing other people but it served two other purposes, it was for comissioning and receiving the Holy Spirit. The next lesson, the Ressurection of the Dead was taught by Ptr. Andrew Sombilla. It may sound scary that the Dead would rise. Upon hearing this, people would imagine something like a scene in the movies with zombies coming out from their graves, but this kind of Ressurrection is far from that. The Ressurection of the Dead refers to the ressurection of God’s people as a sign of victory over death. It also signifies that we have been justified as believers. The last foundation, the Eternal Judgement, was taught by Sis. Nona Londonio. I was a bit puzzled to hear that the Eternal Judgement was a foundation but as she explained that a foundation is something to remind us to stay on God’s course. Keeping the Eternal Judgement in mind, we would always be aware that we will also leave this world and we should not be attached to it. We should live according to God’s plan because at the end of the day, we would be judged not according to our earthly accomplishments but according to what we have done for God.

The highlight of the camp was the baptism of the 333 attendees in water, fire and holy spirit. This camp made history because for the very first time, the three baptisms were held simultaneously. We were accustomed to holding these baptisms separately but according to Prophet Neville Johnson, the baptism of water paves the way for the baptism of the holy spirit and of fire. There were three pools set up donwstairs; two for the grown-ups and a pool for the kids. I was on the end of the line and as I was waiting for my turn, I saw in each camper’s face that as they immersed from the water, something has really changed in them. I may not know exactly what it was but I knew one thing, that God was moving things amidst us there. I felt that we were like the 100 apostles in the upper room waiting for the Holy Spirit to arrive. After a camper was water baptized, he or she would be taken to a room to be prayed over by a cell leader, elder or pastor and wait for the Holy Spirit and Fire to baptize them. There was an overwhelming presence of the Holy Spirit and everyone was speaking in tongues! Truly the Holy Spirit was amidst us! It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience with God that I surely would never forget. After waiting on the Lord, I was surely renewed.
